Chantil Dukart will be returning to her hometown in Anchorage, Alaska to perform and celebrate her new album release. She will be performing at the Williwaw Social, Thursday, October 20th at 9pm. She will be accompanied by Sean Perkins and Eiden Pospisil. Opening act will be local singer/songwriter, Kat with her project, “The Forest That Never Sleeps”. Chantil Dukart is an Alaska Native artist and musician with Tsimshian and Alutiiq roots. Her grandfather, Cecil Barnes, was on the first Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) board and was one of the leaders who helped lobby for the successful passage of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).
