The Production/Finishing Associate is responsible for day-to-day production of large format signs, graphics, decals, and more. The Production/Finishing Associate performs essential functions to a fast and efficient production workflow, communicates effectively with colleagues and clients, and contributes to a positive working environment. Responsibilities - Working on the production and finishing of large format signs and graphics (i.e., Banners, Vehicle Graphics, Signs, Window Graphics, Tradeshow Graphics, etc.) - Operates and maintains tools and equipment necessary to complete projects (i.e., Laminator, Cutter, Plotter, Welder, Grommet Machine, Etc.) - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and respect for individuals. - Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals and ensure company policies & procedures are followed at all times - Processes work orders, which includes reviewing documentation for accuracy, contacting customer for follow-up information, closing-out and filing work orders while meeting required deadlines. - Assembles all types of vinyl material for production of all types of sign and vehicle applications. - Monitor quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all orders to ensure customer commitments and deadlines are met - Ensure waste is minimized throughout each and every job - Packing orders and processing shipments - Maintains a clean, organized, and safe shop area at all times. - Follows direction and performs duties provided from Production Manager - All other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications - Experience in the large format printing industry is not required, but will help determine wages. We will consider candidates who are willing to learn and display a willingness to commit long term. - Ability to multi task, set priorities and meet deadlines - Ability to meet deadlines while working under minimal supervision. - Ability to use best judgment and problem solving skills to make recommendations that assist in meeting goals and completing jobs. - Ability to maintain a professional composure while working under stress and changing environments. - Ability to perform all production functions when necessary.
