Small independent distributor looking for dependable and trustworthy route sales representative to service bread delivery route. Job Type: Full-time & Part time positions available Salary: Full Time $700 weekly approximately 35 hours Part Time $450 weekly approximately 24 hours License: Driver's License required (non CDL) Experience: Driving 1 year, merchandising or retail (Preferred) Full training will be provided. Position Summary As a Route Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling, delivering, and stocking bread and rolls to retail customers and restaurants. Warehouse is located in Auburn, average of 50 miles driving per day. Responsibilities and Duties Picking order and loading/unloading truck. Delivering correct product, in the right amount, to all customers at the scheduled delivery times and days. Selling to existing customers. Neatly stocking shelves at stores. Maintaining necessary delivery information of all accounts. Maintaining good working relationship with all customers. Anticipating customer needs to maintain proper inventories. Display excellent customer service at all times. Operating box van in a safe and responsible manner. Refueling of vehicle. Following defined safe work practices. Ensure all food safety requirements have been effectively maintained. Being mindful of personal safety, and that of co-workers and the public. Problem solving and managing conflict when issues occur. Qualifications and Skills High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Reliable and dependable. No driving related suspension, revocation or cancellations. No moving violations or reckless driving incidents. In the last seven years, no major driving offenses - i.e. DUI/DWI, reckless driving, refusal to test, leaving the scene, or at fault fatal accident. Reliable personal transportation. Job Demands Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Constant reaching, sitting, standing, bending, squatting, walking, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling and driving. Hours of work vary by assigned route, holidays, and other service requirements. Full time work days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Part time work days are Monday, Thursday, Friday (days other then Monday are flexible) Start time is 3:30-4:30 am.
