Firstly, anyone who reads my posts know I am liberal as they come, except for of course the extremists. Having said that, however, it does appear this president is handing out money like it's going out of style. I will give you an example. I am in my 70's. When I was a young lad, I worked a full-time job midnights, went to school part time all year round in the morning after work, lived in a tiny apartment with three others, and my only entertainment for six years was free stuff on campus. I paid for all my books, tuition, housing and traveling expenses. I think it wrong headed to just forgive young, irresponsible folk who made no sacrifice, lived alone or with one person in expensive apartments, drove new cars, dined at nice restaurants, went to the hot movie every week all on their student loans. But to be fair, Trump did exactly the same when he just handed out money to everyone in the country during COVID. He sent money to dead people, people in prisons, nursing homes and mental hospitals, homeless folk who never (by choice) worked a day in life.... Paul Ryan would have fixed this. He was about fiscally conservative as conservative can be (Tea Party Republican.) But you all know what you did with him. Threw hum under the bus because the orange man told you to. hmmm
