Hello Everyone, I want to start a new group of brothers/sisters here, not just a band, but with someone who is willing to write, record and perform original music because you love it. I've played cover bands for 30 years plus and I just do not enjoy it at all anymore. Tired of learning someone else's songs or playing the same old songs that are warn out and tired. I'll lay down the guitars and sing, but would love a really funky bass player and drummer who can really rock as well. Think a cross between BB King and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It will be mainly originals that we write and record with a few covers of old rocked up blues tunes. This will not be a 2 to 3 nights a month gig. I want to record a CD and see where it goes. If you want to play the same old crappy bars, this is not for you. While I respect that, it's just not for me any longer. In my late 50's now and can still rock with the best of them. Age, Color, Race makes no difference to me, just be honest and have the chops to be funky. With that said, I am looking for a Drummer and Bass player. IF you are a singer and it sounds good to you as well, chime in. Cheers and always be kind to your fellow musicians, we need to always look out for one another. Lray
