Meet Lucy, a 4-5 year old, 70lbs Hound/Lab mix. Lucy is spayed, microchipped, and completely up to date on vaccinations. I am currently fostering Lucy through AugustaDog Adoptions, who pulled her from our local shelter when she became at risk for euthanasia, after spending nearly 5 months in a kennel. Lucy is a laidback sweetie, who spends most of her day snoozing on her dog bed, in her crate, or next to you on the couch. She loves to be center of attention and always wants cuddled. Lucy is completely house-trained and has never had an accident in my home. She is also crate-trained and loves car rides. When she's not snoozing, she loves to play in the yard, go for walks, or run around the house. Lucy would do best in a home where she can be the only pet or with a family confident taking introductions very slowly. She is amazing with my 8 month old son, though! She is very food motivated and loves to make her people happy. A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Lucy! 🐾 Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
