*Physically demanding full time position on farm* Must live locally due to the early mornings and late evenings during different seasons. Searching for experienced farm employee for 3000 acre operation, row crops with center pivot irrigation. Farm grows potatoes, seed corn, peas, beans and wheat. Ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of irrigation during the watering season (April-October), from ordering water, maintaining pump stations, making daily water changes via panel box and app, off-season maintenence and winterization of circles, changing nozzle packages, etc. November-March will consist of shop work, and basic + shop mechanic skills are required. During this time, machines and vehicles will be maintained and repaired. Some equipment operation will be included. Must be detail oriented, able to keep accurate records, use tools appropriately, maintain a clean and organized work environment and able to work independently and as part of a team. Housing is not provided. Health-care stipend is available. A one-year probationary period will give employee and employer a chance to gauge fit.
