Looking to re-home 7-year-old Pit-MIX (likely Labrador). Neutered & vaccinated. Rehoming fee: $80 Must agree to a background check. Must have a house with a yard. I want his new parent(s) to be affectionate and live an active lifestyle with him. He is a patient, affectionate, sweet, and caring dog who spends most of his time quietly coexisting, but he does have the energy of a puppy if you want to play. Well behaved and smart, easily trainable. My ex gifted him to me when he was 2 months old, for my 23rd birthday. Truth be told, I never had any intentions of having a dog because I have allergies, and I'm more of a cat person. He's a great dog, and I have tried my best to give him the life that he deserves, but unfortunately I do not have the means and environment best suited for a dog. He deserves and needs more than what I can give him. He grew up with 3 dogs when he lived with my ex after our split, but has been the only dog for the past 5 years that I've had him on my own and has not socialized with other animals within that time, so I'm unsure how he'd behave. He's never been around children, so I'm unsure how he behaves with them. Please email me with any questions you have.
