New 80's Pop & Rock Acoustic Cover Band in need of singer

We play (mostly) 80’s pop and rock hits backed by acoustic guitar, electric bass, and drums. We’re seasoned musicians but willing to work with someone looking for more stage experience. This is a side gig for us right now but we certainly are working toward booking shows and getting out into the scene soon. We expect to play bars, parties, and small events to start. We’re looking for someone who: • Can adapt to different musical genres – pop, rock, funk, alternative • Has the right balance of confidence and professionalism to be the voice of our group • Is willing to put in the work to quickly learn our songs, arrangements and bring flow to our overall set • Understands how to be a team player and plays well with others • Can help with building our following and getting people to shows • Practices on their own time, rehearses on the group’s time This is not a pro gig, keep looking if you need a gig for money. Once we do start playing paying shows we will split evenly and re-invest in the band as well. Must have reliable transportation and availability to rehearse at least one evening per week in the Brookfield area. We’re a good-time band but also are looking to grow our reputation with fans and venues alike – no drugs and plan to take it easy on drinking during shows.
