dealing with record collectors

i have a collection of lps im looking to sell - 1/2 country 1/2classic rock. been told that local dealers at stores jsut try to low ball everything. has anyone dealt with one that you can recommend that will give honest price? ones to avoid? any other sugesstions. thanks
