Description

Takoda is a 4 year old pure bred German shepherd. Koda for short. He is an all black long coat. Will be 5 on February 18. He is in tact, knows and follows basic commands (sit, stay, shake, and lay down). Is also off leash trained, excellent recall unless he sees a rabbit. He has a high prey drive for rabbits and occasionally a squirrel. Was raised with other dogs and cat/kittens and has NEVER shown any aggression. He was socialized very well as a pup. He is very friendly but naturally protective of his family and home. The only reason I am considering finding him another home is because I have been a stay of home Mom since I brought him home at 8 weeks old. I am no longer able to be home as my Mother has become dependent of care 24/7. He isn’t getting the attention, love, and exercise he is accustomed to as I’m with my Mom at her house 6 days a week as well as caring for my own children, family, and home. Koda is healthy and happy with a lot of love and life left to spend with the right person/family. He will come with his kennel, dishes, toys, treats, etc. Serious inquiries only, must have experience with the breed.
