Description

Please join us on our final nature walk of the year down to the path to the Donahue Sea Caves. We will celebrate leaf peeping season with a discussion on tree species identification and the reasons behind this seasonal change. This area is home to giant oaks, a myriad of conifers, and the fascinating wild cucumber vine. We will also talk about various seed dispersal methods, some invasive species and of course discuss and observe lots of mushrooms! This moderate 1 mile hike is directly in the center of Burlington and is accessible by bike bus or car. Please meet at the high school main parking lot at 1 PM Please register by reserving a ticket. See you Saturday!
