THIS EVENT IS RESCHEDULED: NOVEMBER 11 & 12Music Heals Coffeehouse is a longstanding Artreach tradition and it's back with an all-Beatles program of live music! The Music Heals Coffeehouse will highlight Artreach members performing popular music that is meaningful to them while raising awareness and busting the stigma of mental illness. The Music Heals Coffeehouse will take place at the Chestnut Street Playhouse in Norwich on November 11th and 12th at 7:30 pm each night. Each performance will also feature Here Comes the Sun, an art show and sale featuring Artreach members’ work. Doors open at 6:30 pm for the art show. At Artreach, we believe creativity heals. Music Heals is a life- changing program that truly makes a difference for individuals in our community who are living with mental illnesses. In addition to music workshops, Artreach offers theater, comedy, visual arts, and arts- and culture-based recreation programs to help members build life skills while raising awareness in the larger community through public performances and art exhibits.
