Please join the UC Berkeley Nordic Center for a reception before Esa-Pekka Salonen and the San Francisco Symphony at Cal Performances! This special Halloween season concert will be conducted by Finnish Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen. Join us in welcoming Salonen back to Berkeley in his first Cal Performances appearance leading the San Francisco Symphony, a musical chemistry the San Francisco Chronicle has already praised as “magnificently vibrant.” Run time for this concert is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, including intermission, but not including any possible encores.
