What is The Black Soul Project? This project's mission is to showcase different relatable and inspiring stories of BLACK PEOPLE. Your neighbors, friends, family, creatives, entrepreneurs, musicians, etc. What is this event about? One of the parts to this project is the "I AM" Series. This features short snippets of different people saying what their Black Soul is. Like ---> "My Black Soul is ________ " How Does It Work? Show up anytime between 2pm and 6pm. Sign in and get on the list. This is where you sign a model release to give permission to use the content we make during the session. Once signed, you'll be added to the queue to record your clip. While you wait, check out The Pop Up Collective, shop, mingle, and enjoy refreshments.When its your turn, you'll record your clips and if you're up for it - we can make a TikTok video, Instagram reel, and/or take some headshots that you can use later. EVERYTHING IS CONTENT so I always try to throw in some extras.Once you're done, you can stay and mingle for a bit longer. The shop closes at 6pm.Tell me about The Pop Up Collective This event will be hosted at The Pop Up Collective. This boutique feature 10+ Black Owned businesses and brands. Its a great place for entrepreneurs who have a goal of owning their own retail location. There is an amazing variety of products and I think you all would enjoy the shopping experience. This event gives you a chance to join in on The Black Soul Project and shop at The Pop Up Collective. Tickets Explained "I Am" Feature Ticket - This is the general ticket. With this ticket, we will record a short snippet of you filling in the "My Black Soul is _______ " statement. You also have the option of promoting the project to receive commission on your referrals. "I Am" Ticket is FREE ------ Join the Project Ticket - This tickets allows you to officially join The Black Soul Project. Along with recording the "I AM" clip, you'll record a short story about yourself, then get drawn into products. When the products sell you receive a commission via Venmo or Cash App. For this event, you will record your story, record your "I AM" statement, and take headshots. If you're not a great ON THE SPOT person, practice your "I Am" response. Essentially you'll be saying the following phrase: "My Black Soul is ________ " and you'll fill in the black. You can record up to 3 of these during your session. 2. Dress how YOU want! Be yourself 100%! Try to ignore doubts and fears about how others will take to your look. It's all about YOU! 3.
