Come out for a great night in Simonton, Texas as we join together to raise money for our Special Operators, Gold Stars, and First Responders. Listen to inspiring guest speakers that remind us of the sacrifices our veterans make, and why we are so fortunate to live in America. A 5 star dinner will be provided by Chef Anthonie Dekker and his team at Anthonie's Market Grill. A beautiful and one of a kind dining experience, located in the heart of Simonton, Texas. Live Music will be provided by Moses Rangel, one of our all time favorites country music artists! And of course we will have a live auction and raffle baskets up for grabs! Help us fulfill our mission to serve America's Heroes! We are honored this year to have the longest serving Texas Ranger and Vietnam Combat veteran, Sgt. Joe Haralson as our guest speaker. Joe has been a part of the Navy SEAL Danny Dietz event for many years, always charged with presenting our Honorary Texan Award to numerous Gold Star Families and special individuals, including NFL star JJ Watt and retired Navy SEAL DJ Shipley. Joe Haralson has been with the Texas Department of Public Safety since 1971 and became a Texas Ranger in 1981. Joe is also founding member of the Ranger Reconnaissance Team which is a division of the Texas Rangers formed in 2009. In his lengthy career he has seen it all, and we cannot wait to hear what he has to share. The Navy SEAL Danny Dietz Foundation is a 501c3 dedicated to providing grants to Special Operators and First Responders who have been injured in the line of duty physically or emotionally or both. We also have a grant program for surviving family and recently added a smaller, but no less important grant for caretakers of these brave heroes. We provide grants for treatments and issues that may not be covered under traditional benefits. The foundation has sent a medically retired special operator for alternative treatment for a TBI and we have paid property taxes for a widow in need. We have covered a spectrum of needs and are honored to be able to assist these men and women in their journey of healing and transition.
