Come and view social justice inspired art exhibits from Philly based artists such as Iris Bonner of These Pink Lips.
Take part in one of our Dream Space wellness workshops such as breath-work meditation by Sarahn Sankofa and Ubuntu-Creating Our Community Vision by Lenora Magee, founder of Orisun Arts & Wellness. These workshops will be taking place until 2pm.
Followed by a community action panel conversation featuring Khaliah D. Pitts of Our Mother's Kitchen, Rashaun Williams of National Coalition of Reparations In America, Reuben Jones of Frontline Dads, and Brandee Blocker Anderson Chief Racial Equity Strategist for The CIty of Philadelphia
From 3pm-6pm, enjoy dj sets, spoken word, and live music by Chaithu Natar, Shirmina Geneva, Dave G., Jordan Brown, and Neptune XXI.
Food and soft drinks will also be sold a la carte by local vendors. (Vegan and non vegan options available.)
Dream Space was curated to bring the community together to tap into the power of our collective imagination and visualize the future we deserve; using mediums of visual art, wellness workshops, and the medicine of music and spoken word.
Resources will be available from non profit organizations including me too. International who will be providing access to healing resources and community spaces for survivors
