Everyone knows someone that has been affected by the drug epidemic we have in America. As this legalization and decriminalization trend gains momentum, the education, treatment and mental health that was promised seems woefully absent. I offer my personal experience with the trauma of runaway addiction, damages that follow and the realities of recovery. I spent long years in addiction to the most insideous substances known to man, a struggle through a decade of recovery and integration into society forever changed from the experience. I'll address for the addict- the physical health, emotional damages, lost opportunity and all the barriers I faced. For the others effected-What their reality was, how they struggled and dealt with my addictions. Together we will shine a light on this taboo subject. I'll answer any questions you have about drugs, as well as some asked from different perspectives that maybe you didn't think of.... Well go over resources and how they compare.
