Yoga means Union and Nidra means sleep; Yoga Nidra is literally “the sleep of union” (Yogic Sleep). Yoga Nidra is a very simple meditation technique done lying down on your back in savasana. No movement is required.
Yoga Nidra helps us to become more calm and quiet, bringing forth moments of clarity that can bring total inner Illumination in an instant, allowing you to spontaneously transcend those limiting patterns which have had you stuck at a certain point of your Spiritual Development.
As you are guided through your Yoga Nidra meditation you will also be immersed in a sound. Our body is a vessel, made up of water, through which the sound frequency is perfectly transmitted. Sound healing makes use of the phenomenon of sympathetic resonance. Our body’s frequency will entrain with the frequency of the musical sound and vibrate in sympathy with it.
