After a 12-year professional hockey career that started with the St. Louis Blues in 1974, Bob went to work for a local wine and spirits distributor in St. Louis. Bob worked there for 12 years, learning all aspects of the spirits distribution business and spirits in general, where he gathered an appreciation of bourbon and how it became our native spirit. In 2003 the opportunity to join Heaven-Hill Distilleries came about, and Bob jumped at the chance, having learned much about this family-owned company and the refined products they put out to market. Bob quickly became a District Manager for Heaven-Hill, covering the state of Missouri and calling on all of our wholesale partners. In this position, Bob has gained a vast knowledge of the fine products that Heaven-Hill makes, with his main focus being on Heaven-Hill’s superior bourbon selection. As a bourbon “ambassador” for Heaven-Hill, Bob will educate and hopefully entertain you as you enjoy a fine tasting of our foremost bourbon brands.
