Description
I'm looking to put together a group of like-mined musicians, who would like to work on doing a live, public performance of Mike Oldfield's signature work, "Tubular Bells". Obviously, this will require some multi-instrumental skills. In addition to five or six guitarist/bassists, and probably a like number of keyboards, we'll also need a percussionist (orchestral, not trap set) to play the tubular bells, timpani, cymbals, xylophone and glockenspiel (although the xylophone can cover it), as well as a flautist, soprano sax player, mandolin player, and choral members.
Yeah, that's a lot of people, and unless we get enough, there's no sense in even trying. If you'd like to see kind of what I'm talking about, here's a link to a YouTube video of Oldfield and a bunch of his friend, performing it live on the BBC in 1973 - about a year before he actually recorded it - so it's not identical to the record, but it's a pretty close approximation:

If you're interested, send me a text or an email with your phone number, and we'll talk. Thanks
