Howdy. Fresh to the area, I really want to find some like minded musicians to throw down with. I’m interested in doing some post punk, psych/garage with tinges of the heavy heavy that makes folks wanna dance in a circle and ecstatically push each other. I like weird time signatures sometimes, genre fusion is always fun. (Think Frankie n the witch fingers, Fuzz, Idles, Cool Greenhouse, snapped ankles, King Gizz, babe rainbow, etc.) I’m 25 m been playing guitar for like 13 years, bass for about 5, sing on pitch most of the time and I can make some agreeable noises on the keys and drums. I’ve caught a lot of concerts lately and it’s got me super inspired- been writing lyrics and arranging songs every day this week. I like lyrics that are sarcastic social commentaries, other themes include the infinite oneness, self love and all that (but not in a satsang, yoga class kinda vibe more like an impending atomic collision in an alleyway sorta feel haha) We just moved up to Denver after traveling the USA in our van conversion so most of my equipment (except for an electric acoustic, laptop w ableton, shakers, digeridoos) is in storage a continent away in Florida but we’re going back to retrieve it over the holidays. Just might drop some money on a bass rig before that though because I miss it dearly.. I also make loads of art, can edit music videos, work at a screenprinting shop (merch plug!) and am currently getting into live VJ visual projection (gotta keep it psychedelic) Staying up north in thornton.
