Description
I found this Lionhead bunny in my back yard in January 2022. I posted it on Elmwood Parks Facebook group to find the owner and nobody claimed it. Given the timing after the holidays I presume somebody dumped the poor thing. I named him Cannoli and they have been living with me since.
I have him penned off in a corner in my basement. He has a decent size space to roam but I don't give Cannoli enough attention as I have a dog so Cannoli is pretty isolated from the rest of the house for most of the day. I have tried to introduce him to my dog so they can live together but he seems to really not like that and has gone into shock for a few days even after seeing my dog for a couple of minutes. As I will soon be moving to a smaller place I'm not sure how they can live together happily which would be my preference.
Cannoli is a healthy neutered male bunny. I brought him to the vet and they estimated he was an adult about 1 to 2 years old. That was 5 or 6 months ago so probably around 2 years old now. He's fairly large, weighs about 5 lbs. He's super cute and very mischievous, he loves to get into any little cubbyhole he can find. He's not too fond of being picked up but he loves when you rub his little head.
As I said I found Cannoli in my back yard due to (I presume) somebody dumping them. I am charging $100 re-home fee which I will donate. The charge is really just to show me you are serious, I don't actually care about the money but want him to go to the right home. The fee will include your chance to take anything you want. I have a pen, large cage, bags of hay and bedding. I will only let somebody have him who is going to let him roam freely. Preferably already has a bunny would be ideal (a female would be best).
