Hello, So like the title reads I am looking for a diesel technician who is familiar with working on semi trucks, the truck in particular is a 1973 GMC Astro that was used as a BMW Bavaria race car hauler, and from what I can tell it is a Detroit diesel engine. I myself am not very savvy with automotive work in general so diesel work is even more alien to me. The truck I bought from a car collector who used it to move himself across state and before that used it to lug his automotives around. From what I can tell the truck was stored immaculately and it should just have to be filled up with the proper fluids have the batteries wired up and so on to get it rolling. However like I stated before I am no expert so this will be left up to you to decide. I have the four new 12 volt deep cycle batteries that are the replacement batteries that the previous owner had told me to buy, I also have the connectors for the battery is such as cables and other little tidbits. I have oil for the truck as well as seafoam and other various items. I will buy whatever you demon necessary to get the truck rolling. So depending on what needs to be done for the truck I will go off your best judgment I'm willing to pay by the hour or by the job your call. I am looking to get this done in a pretty timely fashion because I need to use the truck to move myself out of my current house by the end of the month.
