TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County Commission, during a closed executive session following Wednesday's regular meeting, made six appointments to the Tuscaloosa County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors. The 22-member Tuscaloosa County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors heads up the lead agency for industrial recruitment and expansion in Tuscaloosa County. TCIDA aims to serve as a "one-stop shop" for manufacturing and distribution for investors interested in new site locations or expanding operations. The Tuscaloosa County Commission re-appointed the following individuals who are presently on the board to new four-year terms, which will expire in November 2024: Mark Crews, Sr.Gary MinorDebbie HughesTim Parker IIINorman CrowThe Commission also appointed Gary Nichols to a four-year term also ending in November 2024, which filled a current vacancy on the board.
