MT Construction, a family owned, and operated business is seeking Concrete flatwork Finishers and Laborers to join their crew in Wichita, KS. Responsibilities and Qualifications: • Finishers – 1+ years’ finishing experience (flatwork) • Laborers – 1+ years’ experience • Set forms, tie rebar, place and finish concrete using a variety of hand and power tools in varying Residential, Commercial, and Industrial concrete projects The ideal potential employee will: • Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check • Comply with federal/regional safety rules and regulations • Be at work at the appointed start time • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds frequently • Be able to work outside in varying temperatures, both cold and hot • Must be able to perform work related duties while walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting Other considerations: • Wages and compensation are based on experience and performance • Employees are responsible for transportation to and from job sites in and around the Wichita area The following tools must be provided by the candidate: • Tool Bag (Includes Hammer, Tape Measure, Quick Square, Utility Knife) • Steel toe Work boots • Rubber Boots • Finishers also need the following o Magnesium Hand Float o Finish Trowels o Knee Sliders Schedule and compensation: • 8-10 hour days, 5 days a week • Finishers – $20.00+ per hour, Laborers - From $15.00-$18.00 per hour • Overtime Opportunities • Weekly Pay • Paid Holidays • Paid Vacation In compliance with Federal and State equal employment opportunity laws, qualified applicants are considered for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, non-job related disability, or any other protected group status.
