New Haven Awning, a 90-year-old custom awning and canopy fabricator, is growing. We are looking for an experienced Mig Welder for a full-time position at our shop headquarters in New Haven to become an integral part of our team! RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacture and fabricate awning frames Install and repair various equipment and components Follow blueprints to meet product specifications Calculate material measurements to verify specifications Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance ​ QUALIFICATIONS: Mig welding, steel grinding/cutting a PLUS A High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields Familiarity with welding tools and procedures Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics Mig welding, steel grinding/cutting a PLUS Must be physically able to perform shop tasks Current and unrestricted driver’s license OSHA10 Certification a plus BENEFITS: Paid Major Holidays Paid Vacations Medical Insurance Bonuses **Compensation commensurate with experience and skills Please submit your cover letter & resume for consideration.
