Join the Harvard Art Museums and the Harvard Ed Portal for a virtual, interactive museum tour series this winter! Throughout December, January, and February, Harvard undergraduate tour guides will lead fun, engaging tours of the Harvard Art Museums' collections.
Kaitlin Hao ’21 confronts the history and ethics of museum practice through a critical look at three works at the Harvard Art Museums: Eight Men Ferrying a Statue of the Buddha, a 7th-century mural painting from China’s Mogao caves; a “chief’s mask” from 19th- or 20th-century Liberia; and Nature Study, a marble sculpture from 1986 by Louise Bourgeois.
