Join Forager Nick Spero and our founder Atiya Wells for a walk to learn about wild edibles available in the early fall. You'll be learning all about the plants you can pick and nibble along the way, as well as those that you need to bring home to prepare for a meal. You will also learn how to forage in a safe and sustainable manner.
Wild edibles offer a variety of health benefits and add unique flavors and textures to your meals. Chicken of the woods should be peaking around this date! We could also possibly find oyster mushrooms as well as lion’s mane.
Come prepared and prompt!! Dress for the weather, bring bug protection, a water bottle, and your hiking boots! Exact meetup location will be sent with the confirmation email :)
