We carry the best gauge and sized wire you can have to keep small parrots to large parrots as its strong and sturdy. Its 12.5gauge wire, galvanized after welding and rigid enough to raise off the ground with pipe legs or hang and not worry about the wire collapsing. What type of birds can use ½” X 3” wire? Even though the 12.5ga might be overkill for Parakeets or smaller hookbills, at my home we use nothing but ½” X 3 -12.5ga wire. All our cages are 40+/-” off the ground standing tall with 1-5/8” Galvanized pipe legs. This helps protect from predators in the night as well as the day. It also allows ease of cleaning up daily depending on your setups.
