It is time to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding work of our extended Bear Yuba Land Trust (BYLT) community. Since 1990, BYLT has been a conservation leader in the Sierra Nevada region, preserving and restoring more than 18,000 acres of foothill forests, oak woodlands, agricultural lands, meadows, riparian habitat and headwaters. We are who we are because of you – our community leaders, business supporters, partners, members, and volunteers. Join us Saturday November 19 for a morning of celebration and gratitude.
In honor of Nisenan Heritage Month we are donating $1 of each ticket purchase to the Nisenan Ancestral Homelands Reciprocity Program.
Together we will pay special tribute to this year’s distinguished Conservation Heroes:
William Nickerl Award for Conservation Leadership –
Bill Trabucco and Anna Reynolds Trabucco
John Skinner Sierra Outdoors Recreation Award – Jesse Locks
Business Sponsor of the Year – BriarPatch Food Co-Op
Partner of the Year – CAL FIRE
Volunteer of the Year – Cathy Scott
