Need help jb welding filler neck to fuel tank, see pic

Single, disabled mother in her later 40's, recently moved part time to Escanaba from Ishpeming to live with sons after their father passed. Has an ~11 year old son in Ishpeming, was making weekly commutes between towns. Last week, Thursday made it back to Escanaba and Friday went to gas station, fuel poured onto ground. Filler neck broke off of fuel tank. It is a 96 Ford explorer Eddie Bauer edition sport. Bought JB weld, wire brush. If anybody mechanically inclined can please stop and help this woman out, she only needs to limp vehicle from Escanaba back to Ishpeming, where she has lots of people waiting to swap filler tube, tank, fuel assembly.
