Guitar and mandolin w vocals duo seeking other acoustic musicans to play gigs like coffee houses, open mics, afternoon outdoor bar gigs or just outdoors in the park or porch for fun. Playing some covers and some original material. Influences include Yonder Mountain, Lumineers, Chris Thile, Sarah Jarosz, Gorfon Lightfoot, Mollie Tuttle, Pokey Lafarge, CSN and many others. We both sing and take turns on lead vocal. Seeking others who are 1. Over 45yo, male or female who are strong vocalists and have stage experience. 2. Guitar, dobro, bass, banjo, cello, violin, percussion. 3. Acoustic rock style with background vocals and harmonies maybe a bit of bluegrass. 4. Must have own equipment and transportation. 5. No drinking or smoking while playing, afterward ok. Absolutely no cigarettes! 6. Would like to play at least once a week gigs or rehearsal. We are the Haunted Mountain Folk Band.
