For those of us who are on Social Security, the thought of getting an 8.7% COLA may seem exciting, But are we really getting extra money in our pockets? The answer is NO! Because the government raises our taxes, our rent and mortgage prices go up and of course inflation is creeping up our butt! So Uncle Sam gets it all back in one way or another. The Democrats idea of spending money makes money is a load of crap. Maybe for the rich...but not the for the working poor or the seniors living on a fixed income. No shopping days for the poor and definitely no steak and lobster dinners! So when you see that extra COLA in your bank accoint this January, be prepared to kiss it goodbye!
