Black Brown Female Shepherd/Cattledog NO IDENTIFICATION NO CHIP Bottom line is...this is a good dog BUT not in an environment where there are cats. I do the cats side of CNPS therefore I have 30+ cats. All the shuffling I have done in the day and a half is basically an accident waiting to happen. I have to put my own first, therefore I will continue to drive thru the neighborhoods for sign, I will continue to monitor all the places I have posted FOUND DOG and I will continue to take her to dog park to try and get her placed temporarily if not permanently...but she has to go somewhere on Monday or sooner. By law the organization only has to "hold" an animal for 3 days before the animal can be adopted out. I have 1.5 days to go. If you even consider judging me then you better follow that up with "you will take the dog" because I have done and am doing everything that I possibly can. Dont be mad at me, be mad at the owners that are not lifting one finger to find their 'beloved family member'. A little bit about her...husband was driving down 35 Ave and she was trotting on the side walk unfearful. When husband stopped and opened vehicle door she jumped in. She is about 1.5 years, about 40 lbs, LOVES to play with other dogs and is exceptional at doing so. She has a lot of energy but I may think it is more than it really is because of the stressful cat situation. She wants to be where you are and will follow you around but she is also independent. She can sit and takes treats very nicely. She wants to please like the typical Shepherd, will bark when playing or if something is going on out front. Good protector.
