Your mission if you choose to accept it... The stagehand’s role is critical in ensuring the success of our events. As a representative of the Production department, the stagehand will support the team in the areas of logistics, construction, decor, signage, and lighting. Stagehands will be assigned to one of the various teams and work under the direction of Team Leads. COMMITMENT: Dates may change based on location * 10/31/22 - 11/26/22 (Load In) and 01/02/23 - 01/15/23 (Load Out)  Must commit to the entire production run from the pre-event to the load-out Must be prepared to work each day of the Load-in, Install, Run-of-Show,  Strike and Load-out This includes the holiday season:  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas day, New Years Eve and New Years Day Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 40lbs. This job description is not exhaustive and is subject to review in conjunction with the post holder and according to future changes/developments. WHO WE ARE:   We are creators of a magical event called Enchant Christmas. We have hosted over three million guests over the past 5 years and have experienced significant growth. While Christmas is a big part of what we do, it is only the beginning of where we intend to go. WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:  Attend Daily Standup meeting/Toolbox Talks to gain info re: the daily tasks and document/revise safety procedures  Practice safe work procedures as outlined by the Enchant Safety & Health Guidelines Engage in established best practices and provide feedback on processes/material/tool requirement to leads  Follow the procedure for acquiring tools and supplies  Support your Team Lead in completing the assigned tasks  Ensure all assets and structures are properly and safely installed  All Team Members will hold multifaceted roles where they will assist the Team Leads and fellow team members with the following tasks as outlined but not limited to:  Assisting other teams and disciplines as needed Unloading / loading shipments  Receiving deliveries  Prepping shipments for outbound transport  Distributing assets within the exhibit grounds  General exhibit setup and take down  Exhibit builds and construction  Exhibit maintenance and repairs  General site tidiness  WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: Your own personal values are aligned with those of Enchant; Driven, Courageous, Sincere, Magical The Stagehand will have experience in the following areas:  6+ months working in the entertainment industry or equivalent as a loader/stagehand Event industry experience as a stagehand or general labor  A desire to work hard and learn new skills  Ability to take direction and execute a task with minimal supervision  Ability to be coached on approved best practices determined by the leadership and team  A positive and enthusiastic attitude  Fabrication & assembly experience is an asset  Ability to use hand tools (both powered and unpowered)  An understanding of fabrication tools and hardware CERTIFICATIONS  OSHA 10 training Don’t have the required certification?
