Please consider donating 5 bucks to the Loring Elementary walk a thon fundraiser! Today is the last day and I thought I'd share on Craigslist. Loring Elementary school is on 44th and Thomas N in North Minneapolis (Victory Neighborhood). As a community school in a lower income area, the extras - sensory chairs, field trip busses, classroom visitors (like zookeeper visits), and Kids Cook classes are paid for by the PTA. If you live near 44th and Thomas you know how majestic the Loring Community gardens are! The fruit orchard and vegetable garden are resources for the whole neighborhood. Public schools thrive when they're able to meet kids' changing needs. 💛
