We are looking for Plasma operator CNC machine for company in Melissa/Denton, TX. About 15 minutes from McKinney. What you are going to be doing is: Plasma Operator: • Able to read /create detailed sketches or notes according to specified dimensions by hand or by computer aided design (CAD) • Analyze drawings, sketches, design data of desired parts. • Determine reference points. • Assures quality of work though accuracy neatness, paying attention to details. • Changes tooling as required per drawing and/or materials. • Write instructions on sheet, cutter lists to guide setup and operation of machine. • Operates machine as required • Write instruction sheets and cutter list to guide setup • Run / trial runs • Report unusual conditions • Observe company safety rules and regulations REQUIRED : • two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Architectural drafting background or related material take‑off experience helpful. • Experience in Plasma Cut CNC machines • Experience in sheet metal Plasma cutting • Experience using forklift and other loading and unloading equipment. • Ability to read analyzes and interprets design data, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write instruction sheets, cutter lists, reports and business correspondence. • Knowledge of construction and fabrication methods. • Ability to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. We have 1st shift positions available M-F 6am-2:30pm and it pays $24/hr with OVERTIME POTENTIAL!!! THERE IS NO WEEK IN THE HOLE!!! Please come in and apply at the office 8am to 3pm.
