HOTEL HOUSEKEEPING / ROOM ATTENDANT (Asistente de Habitaciones) The Bavarian Ritz has a new owner, and we are getting ready to make some major upgrades and a Re-branding to “Hotel Leavenworth”. We need lots of help and are looking for reliable and flexible people to add to our team! The Room Attendant cleans and prepares guest rooms by meeting high standards of cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction. We are looking for a person who can excel in the role and who is committed to delivering excellent experiences for guests. ABOUT US Hotel Leavenworth is a friendly, family-owned boutique hotel located in the heart of Leavenworth. We have 16 guest rooms, and we will be putting a lot of effort and creativity into making our hotel a great place to stay and to work. CORE JOB DUTIES: • Remove and replace dirty towels and bedding with clean linens • Clean and sanitize all areas of the guestrooms and hotel common areas • Laundry and folding • Restock linens and supplies • Vacuum, dust, and mop SCHEDULE: • Part-time • Approximately 4-7 hours per day, starting at 9:15AM. • Opportunity for extra hours if you are interested in helping us with the remodel. • Work holidays and weekends, plus some weekdays. PAY: • $17 / hour, plus $500 Holiday Retention Bonus on January 2nd QUALIFICATIONS: • Knowledge of basic cleaning principles - safe use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment. • Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform all required cleaning duties. • Maintain a neat and clean appearance to represent the hotel positively. • Attention to detail and thoroughness to ensure room cleanliness standards are maintained. • Good time management. • Able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers. • Dependable with a good attendance record. • Must have reliable transportation. • Must be eligible to work in the United States. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours and physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs; operation of vacuums weighing up to 25 lbs., lifting and moving heavy furniture, partially lifting mattresses weighing up to 155 lbs. and pushing a housekeeping cart weighing up to 75 lbs. • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, climb, lift, carry, crouch, kneel, push, pull, reach, grasp and see.
