Job description: Sadler Electric was formed in 1981 to perform electrical installations in commercial and industrial applications. Over the past thirty-five years, Sadler Electric has competitively bid and was awarded some of the largest and most challenging projects in the Omaha Metropolitan Area. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Job Functions include (but not limited to) the following: - Drilled Shafts - Trenching - Concrete pouring and finishing - Loading and unloading materials and equipment - Installation of overhead structures - Signing Installation - Operate construction equipment such as excavators, skid loaders, bucket trucks, lodrils, etc.… Skills/Abilities: - Works effectively with a team and individually - Motivation and willingness to expand knowledge base - Punctuality - Knowledge of jobsite safety - Ability to complete projects in an effective timely manner - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Reliable and Dependable - Strong work ethic - Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment - Physical ability to lift or move heavy objects - Ability to work in most outside weather conditions Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License (Preferred) CDL License (preferred) ***pays premium wage on top of base wage*** Additional Incentives: - Sadler Electric pays employees for getting a CDL on company time.
