Summary The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing the daily functions of picking, auditing, packing, and shipping orders. This role is also expected to perform the activities of receiving, cycle counts, and basic assemblies. This position requires basic warehouse skills, good attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and strong organizational and people skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Accurately perform basic warehousing activities including Pick, pack and ship orders Double check orders to ensure accuracy Cycle count to maintain inventory accuracy Ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner and per company standards Maintain clear records of all inventory and stock per company standards Meet daily output expectations including shipping of completed orders to ensure accurate delivery to customers Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Requirements Minimum of High School graduate or GED 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center Forklift experience 2 years preferred Proficiency with USPS, UPS and FedEx shipping systems preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, ERP/MRP Operating systems and WMS software preferred Experience using RF technology in a distribution environment preferred Physical Demands The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, you can expect the working environment of this position to be: Warehouse environment – standing, lifting, pulling, packing, shipping, receiving and operating equipment (pallet jack, carts, etc.) You must be able to lift and move boxes of at least 40 lbs. and pull or push 300 – 400 lbs. via handcart, or a pallet jack up to 2100 lbs. when necessary. You must also be able to sit and use a computer.
