Description
CAN YOU HELP US LIVE? All 4 dogs will die (be put to sleep) on 10/16. Why? – Sadly, each one of these dogs is struggling in their kennel and the shelter euthanizes dogs not coping well. Watch our videos in comments! We are ALL loving dogs! We ask all of you to: 1. Share this post! (this will save their lives). 2. Go to meet one of these good adoptable dogs. They don't deserve to die because a non-caring person dumped them in a shelter. Read about each dog below, call , OR go directly to the East Shelter (2630 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa, AZ 85201) to save 1 of their lives. They are all good loving dogs. JUDO: #A4356703 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 3-year-old, neutered, tan/white Whippet/German Shepherd Mix (57 lbs.). I came to the shelter as a stray, and no one has come for me! I'm super calm and a bit shy! I can also be “happy”, wiggly boy that has an overall rating of “EASY”! I’ve been friendly with adults and children and like being petted by both. I’m picking up commands quickly (“sit”, “leave it”, and “touch”), walk nicely on-leash, and take treats gently. I love playing in a kiddo pool and dunking my face in the water. Please bring the family to meet me! BRYSON: #A4783488 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 3-yr-old, neutered, black/white American Pit Bull Terrier (60.7 lbs.). I’m yet another homeless stray whose family hasn’t come to get to take home! I can be a "goofball" but I am also gentle, friendly, cooperative and an overall “EASY” dog to manage and be around. I’m easy to leash and walk, non-reactive around other dogs, enjoy petting and playing fetch. SHADOW: #A4766453 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 3-yr-old, neutered, black/white Australian Cattle Dog Mix (42 lbs.) I have been at the shelter since 8/2/22 and no one has come for me! At times, I get so scared that I “pancake” to the ground and have been unable to walk. I need a patient, loving adopter who will go slowly with me and give me time to build trust. Sometimes, when I’m not SO anxious, I walk on-leash, come up for pets, take treats nicely, and “sit “when asked. I have been non-reactive around other dogs. Because I’m a nervous, timid boy, I’m required to go to a home with older children. STORMIE: #A4614576 (Dog friendly but no small ones) I’m a 2-yr-old, spayed, brown/white Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Terrier. (48 lbs.). Sadly, I was surrendered because my owner got bitten breaking up a squabble over treats between me and the other dog in the home. I am not aggressive! watch my videos! In fact, I’m a “good-natured, friendly, “super-sweet” girl that listens well. I have a gentle, dainty manner, will “sit” for treats and take them gently, and LOVE being petted. I walk better when harnessed. I’m required to go to a home with no small animals, and I’m best suited for a home with older children. PLEASE REMEMBER!! All these dogs have been living in a high-stress environment and will need time to de-stress and relax!! They will need a quiet home with structure and routine. Unless noted above that there is an only dog requirement, it is possible that with a SLOW INTRODCTION, any could live with another dog.
