Delivery Driving includes delivery of print orders - rolls of construction drawings and specification books (8.5x11/11x17), as well as large format color prints, foam boards, and corrugated plastic and metal signs - and supply orders (paper, toner, ink) for large format printers. Excellent customer service skills are a must! Customers are served in person as well as over the phone and through email. Eastern Engineering has its own delivery vehicles. Deliveries may be to customer offices, construction job sites, and between Eastern Engineering offices. Print Production/Customer Service assisting includes printing and scanning large and small format items, customer service regarding distribution of construction jobs on our websites as well as with paper, toner, and ink supplies. Computer literacy is a must. Excellent customer service skills again, are a must. The primary duties of this employee are driving. Lifting, bending, reaching, carrying/moving, repeatedly up to about 55 pounds is necessary. Work also includes sitting and standing. Dress code consists of Eastern Engineering logo shirts and khaki pants/good condition jeans. Until a driver can obtain the Eastern shirts, regular polo-type shirts are fine. Shoes can be whatever is comfortable and safe as well as clean and presentable. Eastern offers health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, and 401K is available after 90 days employment. Eastern Engineering serves the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction Companies as well as the Owners of construction work. About half the employees at Eastern have been with the company 10-20+ years.
