Doing an apartment turnover/renovation and need experienced demo person to remove the tub, tiled walls and window, and haul away. Attached is a picture of the bathroom of an identical unit. Vanity and toilet have been removed. Demo area is everything in and around that tub. So Scope of work is removal to bare studs (ie, nails/drywall screws incl) of the three walls surrounding the tub, up to the ceiling (ceiling remains), plus the tub and that single pane aluminum window (exterior is stucco). Tub is cast iron. Walls are lath coated plaster (tho the lath is plaster board, not chicken wire or mesh). In your bid, describe tub removal method. Since its a two person job to remove it without sledgehammering it into pieces, I prefer a one person bidder… someone who has experience with breaking up cast iron. I need this ASAP so let me know your availability. The more information contained in your reply, the more interest I have in hiring you. FYI, I don’t respond to replies that don’t provide a firm bid (Those with experience won’t have a problem with that or need to see bathroom first). Its a ground floor unit….plenty of parking in the alley ….close to the unit.
