Apply online here: or Call Zach: 619-490-3123 or Fausto: 619-832-6815 - se habla espanol Benefits -Company sponsored health benefits -Company holidays -Company sponsored retirement plan -Sick leave -Paid Time Off -Construction Laborer Rate: $16.00 per hour - $18.00 per hour  Job Requirements -Positive attitude -Be on time every day -Reliable transportation -General knowledge of landscape construction, plants, machines, fertilizer, and pesticides is mandatory -Perform job duties as described below, in a professional manner, consistent with Juniper Landscape Companies Handbook policies and procedures Job Duties: -Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project -Operate various tools and equipment, including chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc. -Assist in the construction of walkways, fences, decks, posts, etc. -Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning daily -Dig ditches or trenches -Perform land clearing activities -Plant and maintain garden beds and lawns -Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects -Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying -Assist foreman with job-related tasks -Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to perform work activities -Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment -Comply with all company policies and regulations -Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations -Follow instructions of landscape foreman, managers, and supervisors -Keep truck/trailer/equipment clean and orderly -Inspect all work for quality to eliminate the need for return visits and/or re-work due to quality or customer satisfaction issue Level 1: < 1 year of experience Entry level duties above – trenching, digging, planting, wheelbarrows, lifting, etc. Level 2: 1 < 3 years of experience Proficient knowledge of softscape installation – must be able to work with plants, soil, mulch, irrigation, lighting. Level 3: > 3 years of experience Advanced proficiency in the above softscape tasks + basic tender skills in hardscape tasks: pavers, walls, hardscape, and flagstone - training to be a Foreman.
