A welcoming space where growing minds can flourish through hands-on crafts and art making! Grades K-6, younger siblings welcome Each Thursday, 3:30 - 4:30 at Awake Coffee Art $5 drop in, $20 4 class pass + 1 free! Designed to inspire and be a source of joy, youth will have space to discover their own unique expression through art making. Activities include drawing, printmaking, performance, puppet making, sculpture and more! Classes focus on introducing enriching art processes while empowering youth through inquiry and tapping into their inner creativity! Classes are led by local artist/designer Michelle Vorce. She runs Eclecto Studio, which was started in winter of 2020 after being impacted by the pandemic as a teaching artist working in schools across portland metro. Her work in education, creative entrepreneurship, and fine arts has been exhibited nationally with features in the Coastal Learning Symposium, Southern Graphics Council International, Imagine Science Films and the great outdoors. Eclecto Studio specializes in working through the hand to create memorable objects and experiences with soul. Seating is limited. Pre-register to reserve a spot.
