We serve beer in old fire station and strive to create moments that matter. Nick Gonnering is a blues-inspired, soul-infused, folk singer-songwriter. His fusion of funk and jazz chording compliments his inspiring, reflective lyrics and soulful melodies. While he is a solo artist, his stylings add rhythmic and percussive elements that can sound like a full band, and often accompanies himself with a looper. Drawing inspiration from Neo Soul, Bluegrass, Funk, and rock music, Nick fuses styles and techniques to create powerful, insightful, and inspiring original music. Reflective of his journey through life, his music resonates with an essence of mysticism and charm, and his lyrics weave a tale of insight and peace. Chives Restaurant is located in a historic building in Suamico’s Vickery Village, the authenticity is impossible not to notice. Chives offers choices for everyone from burgers and daily sandwich and pasta features, to fresh seasonal cuisine utilizing local ingredients at great prices. Chives will be serving a BLT sandwich, choice of soup, and a salad.
