You're invited to a very special Halloween Party to support the students, teachers, and organizers of the Portland Urban Debate League! We create access to after-school debate programs for historically under-served high schools by providing support for students and educators; hosting local tournaments; and providing enrichment programming to support students' success in college, careers, and life. Over the past two years, we've served 126 students at area high schools including McDaniel (Madison), Reynolds, Centennial, and Roosevelt. And we are excited to add Franklin and Parkrose High Schools in the coming school year. At our Fall Event, we will be collecting funds to maintain and expand our programs for the current school year and beyond! Put on your best costume, because there will be a costume contest - with prizes! Votes for Best Individual and Best Partner/Group costumes will be collected throughout the event, and the winners will be announced at the end. Dinner is included in the ticket cost - and some specialty drinks - so come ready to eat, drink, and be eerie!
