EVENT OVERVIEWLearn lighting and photography from some of the best in the industry. During this special, all-day hands-on event work side by side with photographers like Profoto Legend of Light Kellie Bieser, Seattle Portrait Photographer Kate Hailey, and Seattle area Wedding Photographer Sarah Thompson. Learn and elevate your work in this hands-on experience! This is a great opportunity to work in a studio environment and gain experience with talent, models, and groups of people, and create portfolio-quality images. Each photographer will lead you through their own set, from concept to theory to story to light, and how to use it. --------------------------------------------- SET THEMES & INSTRUCTORS• Halloween/Spooky Portraits with Kellie Bieser • Creative Editorial Portraits with Kate Hailey • Bridal Portraits with Sarah Thompson --------------------------------------------- DEMONSTRATIONS & TECHNIQUESWe will start the event with a couple of live demonstrations and then break into groups to work through the different sets. About Kellie Bieser’s Demonstration Creating light in photography isn’t just about getting your exposure right…it can be about so much more. Join Kellie Bieser and Profoto as we walk through ways to create characters and reveal personality using simple, accessible lighting setups that will get your creative wheels turning. About Kate Hailey’s Demonstration Explore the world of editorial portrait photography, Kate will highlight her go-to Profoto lighting setups and modifiers. In addition to this, Kate will guide you through the set, working with talent, posing, and more. Your Own Creative Exploration, led by Kellie, Kate, and Sarah After the demonstrations, attendees will break into groups and work through each set as a group, with the opportunity to rotate through each of the sets. You will learn about a variety of light styles and the broad capabilities of Profoto lighting. As well as work in the role of Photographer, Creative Director, and Photo Assistant with the goal of providing you with a very well-rounded experience to carry into your own business as a photographer, freelancer, lighting tech, digital tech, or photo assistant. Attendees will be encouraged to share their best image from each set for an opportunity to be featured on Glazer’s Blog and Social Media Channels. She believes wholeheartedly that technical execution and emotional connection go hand-in-hand when creating memorable imagery. It’s her mission to capture photos that make her subjects see the magic right in front of them and to teach other photographers how to capture that magic themselves. When she isn’t behind the camera, you can find Kellie on her mini farm with her five kids, too many chickens, four goats, and a very patient husband. Editorial / Studio work by Kate HaileyABOUT KATE HAILEY Kate Hailey is Portrait & Lifestyle Photographer and photography educator, currently based in Seattle, WA. Kate’s love of photography started at a very young age, with artistic and musical influences from both her father and mother, she was bound for creative pursuits. As a teenager she began to learn the art of lighting, as a photo assistant. Over the years she has explored the world, and found her true voice in capturing stories of people and places along the way. Kate is most passionate about creating images for her clients that tell their story. That highlight the beauty of who they are. We are all beautiful. We all have a story to tell. From film to digital, production assistant to producer, and backyards to Italian Villas, Sarah's work has carried her across industry roles and across the globe. Focused on capturing the whirlwind that is weddings, Sarah prides herself on providing a high-end experience for her couples. Mixing both documentary and editorial, her clients walk away feeling the joy of experiencing their day and the gift of having their memories captured beautifully forever. When Sarah isn't behind her camera you can find her enjoying the latest true-crime podcast and jamming out on her Peloton bike. This event has limited space, as a result, registration is required for each attendee, if you are planning to bring a guest, please register for them as well. 
 If you are on the waitlist for this event, you will receive a notification, via email, if a space becomes available for you. The event may be canceled if ticket minimum sales aren't met. PRICING, FEES & REFUNDS In the event of a refund, Eventbrite Fees are not refundable. Eventbrite fees are only refunded if an event is canceled. We will issue a full refund up to 4 days before the event date; or a 50% refund up to the day of the event, if however, if we are able to fill the spot, we may issue a full refund. No-shows will not be refunded. Refunds are unavailable post-event date.
