What You Will Do Maloney Properties is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to join us in maintaining our residential property in Bradford, MA with 200 units. This team also manages a small property in Lawrence, MA with 20 units. You will be hands-on supervising a team of 3 maintenance technicians. The duties you will be responsible for will include: • Overseeing and participating in completing daily work orders, unit turnovers, and preventative maintenance. • Supervising, training, and motivating your team. • Keeping the Property Manager and Regional Manager up to date on our properties and any work that needs to be done. • Preparing buildings for inspections with our technicians. • Coordinating with outside vendors and contractors. • Updating records and reports related to maintenance. The work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30-4:00 with on-call duties shared on rotation with our technicians. Who We Are Looking For: • Someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy. • Experience supervising a team of maintenance professionals while providing training and mentorship. • Knowledge of general apartment repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Experience with appliance repair and operating heavy machinery is preferred. • Experience with Yardi or other work order systems is also a plus. • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
